Rida Najam is an energetic, intelligent leader pursuing a serious career as a development economist. She is agile, and a proactive learner and executor with expertise and passion for poverty alleviations and SDGs. Currently, Rida Najam is working as an Assistant Chief with the SDG section at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. She has over 5 years of professional experience and has directly worked with parliamentarians, federal ministries, provincial departments, and international organizations like the World Bank, UNDP, UNICEF, and ILO. During her undergraduate, she took up internships as a Research Intern at IDS (Innovative Development Strategies), Corporate Relations Intern at WWF Pakistan, and Operations Intern at Silk Bank. Rida Najam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the NUST School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
