Rubina Zulqarnain has joined Development Policy Unit, UNDP Pakistan as Project Manager, Federal SDGs Support Unit.

She is an Anthropologist with over 20 years of experience in program development, implementation, grant management, and fundraising of humanitarian and development programs in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen, across a range of sectors including food security and livelihoods, economic growth, women empowerment, shelter, WASH, protection, climate change and disaster resilience. She has worked with UNDP and multiple international organizations. She is highly skilled in devising gender sensitive strategies, policy reviews, and mainstreaming gender in multisectoral programs. In different roles, she worked closely with federal and provincial government institutions and also led coordination with UN agencies/Clusters, and civil military coordination forums at national and sub national levels.
